First 100 ticket buyers receive an exclusive Guardian Angels hat; $25 tickets include a pig roast, live music, and fall activities.
CANONSBURG, PA – September 15, 2026 – Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs will host the Pawtumn Bark-A-Que, a family-friendly fall fundraiser, on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, from noon to 4 p.m. at Quail Acres Pavilion in North Strabane Park, 1929 PA-519 in Canonsburg.
Proceeds will support Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs and its work training and pairing highly skilled medical service dogs with veterans, first responders, and individuals with permanent disabilities.
The Pawtumn Bark-A-Que will bring community members together for an afternoon of food, live music, and seasonal activities while raising support for the national nonprofit.
Tickets are $25 and include Cheplic’s Pig Roast and sides, live music from The Next, a pumpkin to decorate, Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs exclusive swag*, and unlimited playground access. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase during the event. The first 100 ticket buyers will receive an exclusive Guardian Angels hat* (local pickup only).
“The Pawtumn Bark-A-Que gives people throughout the Pittsburgh region an opportunity to spend an afternoon together while supporting a mission that directly serves veterans, first responders, and individuals with permanent disabilities,” said Brian DeLong, regional coordinator – Pittsburgh for Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs. “Every ticket helps support our work to train and pair highly skilled medical service dogs with the people who need them.”
Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs is a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit dedicated to empowering veterans, first responders, and individuals with disabilities by donating highly trained service dogs and mental health services that help people regain independence and improve their quality of life.
