Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs has always believed in the power of the human-canine bond. Our medical service dogs provide life-changing and even life-saving tasks that allow a person with a disability to lead a more normal life. Our new partners, Bully Max, and the Pittsburgh Pirates, share this belief as we team up to bring Pup Nights to PNC Park, a fun-filled experience for dog owners and baseball fans alike.
This partnership will kick off with the first Pup Night on April 23 with a special Pup Parade! A Guardian Angels recipient and their remarkable medical service dog will lead the Pup Parade, marking the start of an unforgettable day. We invite every fan and their dog to join us and participate in the parade, a lively celebration of the phenomenal bond between humans and dogs.
$2 of every ticket sale from Pup Nights throughout the 2024 season will be donated to Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs to support our mission of pairing service dogs with veterans, first responders, and civilians living with disabilities.

Mrs. Borden’s expertise and accomplishments are acknowledged by numerous national awards from various industries and agencies including the 2018 Corporate Pet Industry Woman of the Year and multiple awards for her organization’s work in mental health and suicide prevention.
She is frequently requested as a Keynote Speaker, and as an Industry Consultant to teach service dog laws to judicial systems, attorneys, and businesses, and to assist in service dog bills in multiple states that were passed into law. In 2020, she started an Institute for Higher Learning and the Borden Veterinary Hospital. Additionally, she has written and teaches college-accredited/VA-approved apprenticeship courses on dog training and service dog training.
