Zach Valentin, Employee of the Year at Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, was born in Tampa and raised mainly in Williston, where he graduated high school class of 2014 at Williston High.

Zach’s “Why” for Working with Guardian Angels

Zach has been working for the organization for six months and describes the job as a dream job.

“I’ve had different jobs, and different opportunities but a career with these animals is by far the best opportunity I’ve been given. I’m a dog person! I never thought I would be working for a non-profit and helping make a difference in the world while also doing something I loved so much, working with animals. I have been truly blessed by Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs with the opportunity to work here and the potential they’ve seen in me from the beginning,” said Zach.

What Zach Wants You to Know About Working at Guardian Angels

The unique, in-depth pairing process used by Guardian Angels is something Zach says stands out about the organization.

“Knowing that someone in need is getting one of the dogs that I know so well and that the dog is going to better that person’s life is really special to me,” Zach said.

Zach has been most touched by the opportunity Guardian Angels provides to him to be part of a workplace that helps people in need.
