The City of Sterling Heights, Michigan is a warm and caring community.

This past weekend, they hosted a community skate that included a fundraiser for Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs. Their goal is to raise the $25,000 necessary to raise, train and pair a Service Dog named Sterling (after their community) for a veteran or first-responder in need.

(Just imagine the good that could happen if every community did this!)

The short video below includes a short conversation with 2 Guardian Angels’ Recipients; sharing how their Service Dogs have made real and positive changes in their lives.
