P.E.T.S. Program

Pets Evaluated & Trained for Services

Train Your Dog. Empower Your Life. Take advantage of a unique opportunity to transform your own dog into a fully qualified medical service dog—guided by Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs.

What is the P.E.T.S. Program?

The P.E.T.S. (Pets Evaluated & Trained for Services) Program is designed for individuals with diagnosed permanent disabilities who wish to train their personal dogs to assist with daily tasks. If your dog has the right temperament and work ethic, we’ll help you build a life-changing partnership.

Training is conducted in Williston, Florida, and in Allison Park, PA. The program requires a 6-month minimum commitment.

Is Your Dog a Good Fit?

Your dog may qualify if they:

  • Are medium to large-sized (50+ lbs. full-grown)
  • Show interest in helping with your disability
  • Are confident, not overly submissive or dominant
  • Can be active with you all day (not carried)
  • Are healthy, fully vaccinated, and microchipped
  • Are spayed/neutered or will be before graduating

All dogs must pass a temperament test before enrollment:

  • $75 for veterans/first responders
  • $100 for civilians

This is a non-refundable evaluation and does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
