Help PNC Bank Cincinnati name a future Service Dog!

Through their annual Mutt Strut Events, PNC Cincinnati has chosen to donate and sponsor the training of a future Service Dog.  These incredible dogs, once fully trained, will go on to assist a veteran struggling with conditions such as PTS, Traumatic Brain Injury, Seizure and Diabetic disorders, mobility issues and more. Each dog takes up to two years to fully train, and although the cost is $25,000 for each dog, with the help of  supporters like you, each dog is donated to their recipient at no cost.

The PNC Cincinnati Team has chosen 5 potential names that all celebrate Cincinnati, and now it’s up to you to choose.

Here’s the potential names they’ve chosen for you to vote on:

  1. Armie: Named for Neil Armstrong. Astronaut & aeronautical engineer from Ohio, and the first person to walk in space.
  2. Beecher: Harriet Elisabeth Beecher Stow spent 18 years in Cincinnati. An author and abolitionist, she is best known for her novel, Uncle Tom’s Cabin.
  3. Coney: A staple of Cincinnati, coneys are a steamed bun, hot dog, chopped onions, Cincinnati Chili & heaps of cheese! Who couldn’t fall in love with one?
  4. Crosley: Crosley Field was the home field of the Cincinnati Reds from 1912 – 1970. Named in honor of Cincinnati native & former owner, Powel Crosley, Jr.
  5. Morgan: Hall of Fame 2nd baseman for the Cincinnati Reds, Joe Morgan won the National League MVP title back to back in 1975 & 1976.
